Now Accepting Applications for the PPN Mentored Disaster Research Career Development Award

The PPN Mentored Disaster Research Career Development Award (PDRCD) program gives clinical and health services research-oriented physicians and PhDs the opportunity to develop research skills and gain experience in advanced methods and experimental approaches needed to become independent investigators conducting disaster science research.

The overall goal of the PDRCD program is to develop a diverse pool of highly trained scientists who will address the nation’s health services, behavioral and clinical research needs in disaster science research as applied to children.

Salary and research support are provided for a sustained period of “protected time” (2-3 years) to prepare a future cadre of well-trained scientists conducting Disaster Science Research in Pediatrics. It is anticipated that up to 4 awards will be distributed.
