PPN Partners with WRAP-EM for Chemical Surge Workshop

In August, the CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) domain of the Pediatric Pandemic Network partnered with WRAP-EM to conduct a workshop aimed at fostering collaboration and preparedness among hospitals, healthcare organizations, coalitions, Fire/EMS, Public Health, and other community partners. The event, titled “Hospital and Healthcare Chemical Surge Plans: Pediatric Considerations” provided a platform for participants to discuss and review chemical emergency surge topics such as decontamination, triage, transportation, antidotes, and behavioral health considerations.

This workshop offered an opportunity for organizations to plan regional preparedness strategies for their respective areas and strengthen the planning synergies between other regions across the country.

The workshop session recordings are now available to view here.
