Norton Children’s Hospital is a not-for-profit free-standing children’s hospital that is a part of Norton Healthcare. The hospital has cared for Kentucky and Southern Indiana children since 1892. The 300-bed hospital is a Level I American College of Surgeons verified Pediatric Trauma Center, Children’s Cancer Center, and Children’s Surgical Center, provides the area’s highest-level neonatal intensive care unit, and serves as the primary pediatric teaching facility for the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
